The Milwaukee Brewers is one of the youngest teams in the league and you can understand the short time frame that we're dealing with here, trying to assess that narrow stretch, looking for the greatest moments of a group that is yet to prove its mettle. But in more ways than one, that short span of time and some of the records its players were able to make are some of the reasons why it's right to think that they've already started proving their worth. But we probably need more time, and that World Series was almost theirs that fateful year in 1982. We want to hope that this is just the beginning for the Brewers. History usually takes care of the rest.

Braun and the 2008 Playoffs-qualifying game
The dramatic turnout of the regular season, with Braun's two-run home run that posted a 3-1 lead for Brewers as the highlight, sealed their Playoffs qualification. It had been 26 years since the Brewers’ postseason game and that one was as sweet as it gets.
Morgan’s 2011 NLDS win
Morgan’s single to center tease so Gomez can proceed with the winning NLDS run is one of those unforgettable plays that fans can’t get over. That 3-2 lead over the Diamondbacks was the Brewers’ 2011 qualifier for the NLCS.
Cooper’s hit for the Brewers’ World Series appearance
The only World Series appearance of the Brewers was made possible by Cecil Cooper’s opposite field single to left. That remains to be a favorite for Brewers fans just to nostalgically remind them how close the World Series had been in 1982.
